virgil b/g taylor is an artist and faggot in Berlin. His work explores histories of care, crisis, exclusion, and toxicity. He makes the online speculative zine FAG TIPS and is one half of ssSssssssssss, a study-friendship with Ashkan Sepahvand.
virgil b/g taylor brings the aesthetics of commercial posters into the exhibition space. The posters invite poetic-political reflections on statehood, power, belonging, guilt, and historical continuities. They merge the language of advertising with political and social critique, exploring how the past and memory are negotiated in the present. Through the familiar visual language of consumer marketing, the work opens up new perspectives on the interruption of public space, societal structures, and our own political agency.
